The second project involved pressure washing the whole house, then going over it with a paint scraper and a caulking gun. I wore out twopaint scrapers and used about twenty tubes of caulk in five days. Then I rented a sprayer and painted the house in three hours.
Sometime in the next few years the siding will have to be replaced. It is the original 75 year old wooden siding, and it hasn't been well taken care of. We are planning on doing some remodeling in four or five years, so we will replace the siding then.
